Our years of experience in the data recovery industry have allowed us to develop a flat rate pricing model which is somewhat uncommon in the Data Recovery industry. Most companies quote high and low prices, add cleanroom fees or other fee's during the process or in general try to "bait and switch" you.

How do we determine the price of our data recovery services?

 This depends on how much data is recovered from your hard drive (or other media). The size or capacity of the media you submit does factor into the pricing but it is primarily determined by the amount of data on the drive. To save money, some customers ask us if we can retrieve certain parts of the data, and not all of it. Generally it takes just as much time to access just a few parts of the data as it does to get all of it, so this becomes a non-issue. The data on a hard drive is stored randomly so we have to recover all of it.

How much does it cost to recover data from a Window's or Mac based Desktop PC or Laptop?

 Most jobs run from $350.00 to $750.00. This of course is dependent upon how much data is on the drive and what size drive you are sending in. We don't add on other fees later or during the process however we may ask you to pay for a hard drive if we have to buy one for parts.. The only other charges incurred are the cost of shipping your data back to you and the cost of a hard drive if you want us to put your data on a new drive. We usually request this if there is more than 30gb. of data. Also you can send us your own media to recover your data too.

What if I send you my drive for Data Recovery and change my mind and decide I don't want it recovered?

 Don't do it! We have to do 90% of the work just to get to the point of knowing if it is recoverable or not. If you really need your data and are willing to pay a fair price then send us your media otherwise don't bother.

• The average Dektop or Laptop Hard Drive runs $350.00 to $750.00
• The average Window's, Novell or Linux Server usually runs $500.00 to $800.00.
• Recovery of a Floppy Disk is usually $50.00 to - $95.00.
• USB Memory Sticks, Camera Cards, Smart Media and Micro Drives vary from $150.00 to $350.00.
• Zip or floppy data transfer $35.00 to $55.00 per disk.
• Virus and Spyware removal is $75.00
• Reload Windows, Applications and Customer Data, averages $200.00 to $300.00.
• NAS (Network Attached Storage) such as Lacie, Buffaloe or I/O Mega $600.00 to $1200.00
• RAID Systems varies greatly in price depending on the complexity of the RAID. Most jobs run from $3000.00 to $10,000.00
• Recovered data is returned on CD, DVD or another hard drive supplied by the customer of by ITS - Data Recovery.
